My name is Victor Christy, and I am the owner, freelance artist, creative CEO, and founder of Christy Art Studios—an artist-run sole proprietorship based in Colesville, an eastern suburban part of Silver Spring, MD, just an hour away from Washington, DC. With a passion for art and design, I bring a wealth of expertise to every project, drawing from years of academic study and hands-on experience.
At Christy Art Studios, we believe in the power of creativity to transform, inspire, and endure. Our mission is to preserve and elevate artistry through furniture restoration, upcycling, product design, and custom creative services. We are dedicated to honoring history, craftsmanship, and ingenuity by merging traditional techniques with contemporary innovation. Through expertise in oil painting, sculpture, mixed media home decor, and graphic design, we bring visions to life while celebrating the timeless beauty of art.

Academically, I earned an Associate’s degree in Art from Montgomery College (Rockville and Silver Spring, MD), a Bachelor's in Studio Art with a minor in Art History from the University of Maryland (College Park, MD), and a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Business of Art and Design, Entrepreneurship from the Maryland Institute College of Art (Baltimore, MD). This diverse educational background informs every aspect of my craft and approach to business.
Beyond art, I enjoy cooking, reading, learning, and listening to a variety of music genres, including classical music, jazz, blues, R&B, and Rock 'n' Roll. I am also a dedicated history enthusiast with interests in archaeology, architecture, culture, art, and music. I continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge, skills, and expertise—striving to elevate my craft and business to new levels of success.
